Bolton manager Owen Coyle knows he cannot spend his way out of trouble in the January transfer window.<br /><br />Wanderers have been marooned in the bottom three of the Premier League for much of the season, having won just three games.<br /><br />However, Coyle knows he must rely on loan signings if he is to strengthen his squad in the new year.<br /><br />"If you don't have money, then there are ways and means of improving your team," he said.<br /><br />"I've not had money anywhere I have been before.<br /><br />"I came to the club two years ago, second bottom of the league, and never spent a penny.<br /><br />"We had to be inventive bringing in Stuart Holden, Jack Wilshere and Vladimir Weiss (on loan)."<br /><br />Coyle, who saw his side lose 2-0 to Everton on Saturday, told the Bolton News: "Whatever hand you are dealt you make the best of it.<br /><br />"If we do have the luxury of spending money then great, but it's not something I'm beating myself up about.<br /><br />"I'm at a fantastic club with great people and we all have to make sure we get ourselves out of the dangerous area we're in."<br /><br />/football on Youtube brings you the latest football news, transfer rumours and footballing gossip from the English Premier League and European Champions League.
